Former Indian cricket skipper Rohit Sharma is making his television debut in the entertainment sector with a new show,’Family Full House with Rohit Sharma’. The makers had been teasing fans with interesting promos for the last few months and finally the wait is over. The makers announced the show title on Monday, along with the premiere dat.’Family Full House’ is slated to premiere on 19th September 2026.

In the announcement promo, Rohit Sharma is seen meeting fans who request to Indian captain to repeat his famous “garden” and “gully cricket” lines. Rohit visibly troubled, says, “Do line kya bol di,itna viral ho gaya. Jab mera pura show aayeha to kya hoga (I spoked just two lines and it went so viral.What will happend when my entire show comes out)?”

An earlier promo released in May, the makers had used Rohit’s viral “garden” dialogue. In that video, he was seen shouting, “Koi bhi garden mein nahi ghumega”,(Nobody will stroll in the garden).”

Cricket lovers are eagerly waiting to see whether the 39-year-old player will be part of the 2027 World Cup. During his recent tour to England, It was speculation that the series decider would be Rohit’s last international match of the counrty. However, Rohit ended up scoring 138 in the 388 chase against England. finishing the England ODI with 175 runs in three matches in average of 58.33 and the strike rate of 98.31.

The channel airing Rohit Sharma’s show already has an interesting lineup. Its further includes the latest season of the reality game show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, hosted by Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, and the ‘Indian Game Show’, hosted by popular television couple Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa. Rohit has already announced his retirement from Test and T20 cricket formats. However, he continues to be an ODI player.
