A first of its kind Talent Reality show , Mission Covershot is a platform where art, insight and inspiration collide.

The first season of the show captured the journey of eight amateur photographers as they battled it out across Sri Lankan terrain, performing various challenges equipped only with their Digital Single Lens Reflex cameras all in pursuit to get that perfect shot. The participants then showcased their creativity before an esteemed panel of judges, leading Indian director Nagesh Kukunoor and award winning National Geogrpahic American photographer Ami Vitale. Through the 10 episode series, the weak were weeded out, leading upto the Grand Finale in which the 3 strongest & most talented photographers battled it out for a chance at the Big Prize – getting their image on the cover of National Geographic Traveller India.
